Four Soft Launches Software eSupply

New Indian Express, Hyderabad, India, October 20, 2001 -- City-based Four Soft Private Ltd. (4S), a leading software development company, today launched 4S e-Supply, a product for the transportation and logistics industry.
Four Soft managing director Palem Srikanth told reporters here that the web-centric integrated enterprise application product offered and end-to-end total solution to create the first B2B supply chain management services product in the world.

"This is where the shipper, consignee, vendor, warehouse and service provider operates through online enterprise application using the Internet. The product is suited to freight forwarding companies, logistics companies, and distribution companies," he added.

The flagship product 4S e-Supply, a twin suite application comprising 'e-Trans', can address the demands of multi-modal transportation companies on a single platform whereas 'e-Log' "is capable of overseeing order management and warehouse management from multiple locations," he said.

"It reduces the cost of operations of the freight companies by $10-15 per shipment. That is definitely going to increase the profit of the company," Four Soft director David Beatson said. The company, manned by 80 professionals at present, is planning to recruit 120 people next year.
