Four Soft net profit up at Rs 2.26 crore

Four Soft, a city-based supply chain management software solutions company, has announced a profit of Rs 2.26 crore for the 10-month period ending January 31,2003.

For the financial year ending March 31, 2003 the company has projected a profit before tax of Rs 4.07 crore.

Four Soft offers an easy-to-use software operating system and an integrated end-to-end transportation and logistics solution to any third party logistics provider, all at a fraction of the cost that companies are used to paying. This has helped the company in keeping up the trend in developing the revenue model, which has started generating profits since its inception in the year 2000, a company statement said.

Four Soft also projects a turnover of 42.25 crore in 2003-04, a rise of six times compared to Rs 7.50 crore in 2002-03.

"Enterprise solutions for supply chain management were not feasible with conventional technologies of legacy systems and client-server architecture. We have succeeded in integrating the processes and players in the supply-chain, through web-centric 3-tier architecture," Palem Srikanth, Managing Director of Four Soft, said.
