Business Standard, Hyderabad, India, January 21, 2003 --Four Soft, a city-based IT company, bagged a contract from Century Logistics, a Malaysia-based transportation company, for its Four Soft eSuppy-SP product suite. The product is chosen as a platform to build the Malaysian company's global supply chain management services business. The product is claimed to be the first web-centric integrated enterprise application suite for Freight and Logistics industry.
Four Soft's revenue will be to the tune of $2,50,000 from this contract over a period of 3-6 months from the date of contract. The project commenced this month and the first module is expected to go live in three months and the complete implementation is scheduled within six months, said Palem Srikanth, the MD of Four Soft. The solution will enable Century to have a single supply chain management operating system covering all modes of transportation with integrated logistics and accounting to support, Srikanth added in a release. "We were looking for an integrated multi-modal transportation operating system to handle our domestic and international freight operations for all offices worldwide and Four Soft provided the best portfolio of products supported by technological advancement" , said M.Amin, the deputy managing director of Century Group. |
