Hyderabad, May 13, 2004 -- The Global Institute of Logistics (GIL) has designated Four Soft (4S) as the recipient of its `Award of Excellence' accreditation. According to a release issued here on Thursday, the comprehensive study conducted by the research department of GIL into the provision and application of software solutions in the logistics sector over the last year led to the recognition. GIL is the global forum for the third party logistics (3PL) industry. Four Soft focuses on the development of software products and consultancy services for supply chain process management in the domain areas of logistics solutions, and has its development centre in Hyderabad.
