Mumbai, January 30, 2006: - Four Soft Limited (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), the world’s largest transportation and logistics software product company, has reported a 471 % growth in consolidated revenues at Rs 33.55 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 5.88 crores in the corresponding quarter last year.
4S had acquired DCS Transportation and Logistics Solutions division, a UK headquartered Transport & Logistics Software solutions major, with operations in UK, The Netherlands, US, France & Germany in September 2005. The acquisition established 4S as the market leader with large international client base including majority of the top twenty Transportation & Logistics companies of the world. 4S expects the results of this consolidation exercise by 2 nd quarter of FY 2006-07.
4S has reported that the Consolidation of the acquired entities have been successful and are in line with the strategy of the Company. The customers are generally satisfied with the current organisation, service levels and stability, post-acquisition. The customer risk post acquisition has been mitigated. 4S have strengthened their management team and also in the process of adding more manpower in India. 4S had also increased the infrastructure in Hyderabad by adding more facilities such as office space of around 14,000 sft and necessary equipments as a part of expansion strategy.
The Consolidated year to date Revenue for the nine months ended 31 st December 2005 has grown by 274 % at Rs 57.89 crores compared to Rs 15.47 crores for the nine months ended 31 st December 2004.
The Consolidated net profit for the nine months stood at Rs 2.86 crores compared to Rs 5.27 crores in corresponding period last year. The Consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 0.18 crores compared to Rs 1.15 crores in corresponding quarter last year. The Board of Directors today approved the unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31st, 2005.
