Four Soft (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, today announced financial results for its first quarter ended June 30, 2009. The company achieved revenues of Rs. 357 million for the first quarter with operating PAT of Rs. 42.2 million. However, the actual reported PAT is Rs. 4.8 million due to forex loss of Rs.37.3 million during the quarter. The results for the current quarter are not strictly comparable with corresponding previous quarter as the quarter ended June 30, 2008 included net income from sale of customer specific source code of Rs.210.8 million. Fluctuations in currency rate and impact of reversal of unrealized gain of the previous quarter in the current quarter led to a forex loss of Rs.37.3 million.
The company has also announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 0.25 per equity share of Re 5 each of the company.
"The results for the quarter are satisfying considering global economic environment continues to remain uncertain. We are seeing strong opportunities for growth especially in Europe as customers are focusing on improving efficiencies and expanding business." says Mr. Rajshekhar Roy, CEO, Four Soft Ltd. "The strong delivery capabilities with higher focus on sales and marketing, especially new geographies, should result in enhanced customer wins and higher profitability" He added.
"Having achieved cost optimization, we will now continue to invest in products, sales and marketing which should help in the long term growth" says Mr. Biju Nair, CFO, Four Soft Limited.
The company has appointed a European sales head to strengthen the global sales team. In this quarter, Four Soft achieved CMMI level 3 certification and its flagship product Four Soft eCustoms was certified by Netherlands customs authority.

Four Soft's warehouse management software, 4S eLog, executed through its subsidiary Four Soft UK Limited has been implemented as a hosted solution for Calderhead from Four Soft's Datacenter in Nottingham, UK. Calderhead is a leading logistics service provider which provides temperature controlled warehousing and transport solutions to a range of food manufacturers handling both raw materials and finished goods on behalf of their customers from their base in Redditch.
Calderhead required a modern warehouse management solution that would be able to rotate stock according to manufactured and expiration dates, a system able to automatically calculate their storage and handling charges (billing) and provide their customers with web access to their own stock levels along with being able to place orders electronically.

Four Soft (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2009. The company has recorded operating revenues of Rs 194.59 crore for FY09, an increase of 13.44% as compared to Rs 171.53 crore in FY08. The EBITDA was at Rs 67.73 crore against 27.03 in last financial year, however current year profit included Rs. 10.06 crore of currency fluctuation gain and Rs. 21.08 crore from a unique transaction involving sale of customer-specific legacy software solution to an existing customer on non- exclusive basis.

Prime Cargo Netherlands BV, a Netherlands based freight forwarding company has selected Four Soft's integrated freight forwarding solution - 4S eTrans SME, to rationalize and automate its freight forwarding processes. The test run at Rohlig Poland has yielded positive results and they have started using the software in live environment from the second week of January 2009. Rohlig Poland, in its Poznan warehouse, is using
4S eLog to support two of its customers now and targets to automate the processes of its other warehouse customers by end of February 2009. The implementation of the new warehouse management software will trigger dramatic improvements for Rohlig Poland, including real time processing of orders, streamlined procedures, enhanced warehouse management capabilities, reduced errors and increased productivity.
Rohlig Poland has been a long term client of Four Soft, who has been using CIEL and TWS applications (legacy products of Four Soft). Hyderabad, January 28, 2009 Four Soft (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, today announced strong financial results for its quarter ended December 31, 2008. The PAT before exceptional items grew to Rs.107 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, as compared to Rs. 36 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
The revenues were Rs. 476 million for the quarter ended as compared to Rs. 401 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
The quarter has seen a significant jump in profits due to combination of new sales and increased client mining, improved operational efficiency by increased offshoring to India, favorable currency movements and cost reduction. The company has recorded Rs. 1,510 million in sales and a PBT of Rs. 583 million for the first nine months of the year against Rs. 1,290 million and Rs. 108 million respectively in corresponding period of last year.
The Company has established itself in the domestic market by adding 7 customers in the last one year and also hopes to further strengthen its presence by penetrating deeper into the Indian transportation and logistics industries.

Hyderabad, 24 February, 2009 Four Soft Netherlands BV, a global leader in software solutions for transportation and logistics verticals and a subsidiary of Four Soft Limited, India, has signed a contract with Noordex BV, to deploy its freight forwarding software - 4S eTrans SME across Noordex BV's multiple locations in The Netherlands.
Four Soft's 4S eTrans SME is a freight forwarding application which has integrated multi-modal modules bundled in a single application. With the help of this application, the freight forwarders as well as their customers will be able to have end-to-end visibility of their shipments instantaneously. Hyderabad, December 20th 2006 Four Soft Limited (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT" BSE: 532521), a global leader in software solutions for transportation and logistics vertical, has entered into an Agreement to acquire 100% of the Denmark based Transaxiom Holding A/S, a global provider of transportation and logistics solutions.
The transaction value would be approximately US$ 10 m in a cash-and-stock deal with the payouts happening over the next 3 years based on performance. The definitive agreement has been signed between the two companies, and integration will start from 1st of January 2007. A joint team has been identified to work on various aspects of the integration process. Senior executives of both companies have reiterated their commitment and focus on executing this exercise seamlessly.
With this merger, Four Soft has consolidated its leadership position within Transportation and Logistics industry. The acquisition adds a number of strategic players in transportation and logistics to current customer base of 4S. In addition, the merger will augment 4S’s current domain and technology competence and expand global presence in Scandinavia, Australia and Hong Kong markets.

The technology centre is likely to start functioning from 1st August 2006 onwards.

Four Soft's annual revenues grow 337%

Mumbai, June 15th 2006 Four Soft Limited (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), one among the top global transportation and logistics solutions companies, has reported PAT of Rs. 3.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to a loss of Rs. 1.12 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The revenues grew by 496% to touch a new high of Rs.36.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 (Rs.6.2 crore in Q4FY05).
For the ended March 31, 2006, revenues have grown by 337 % to Rs. 94.8 crore compared to Rs.21.6 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005. The FY06 revenue numbers consider only 7-months of revenues from the latest acquisition (T&L division of DCS Group, Plc.). The Consolidated net profit for the year stood at Rs.6.3 crore compared to Rs.4.2 crore during last year. The EBIDTA for the year was Rs.13.0 crore compared to Rs.5.9 crore during last year.
The Board of Directors today approved the audited results of the Company for the year ended March 31, 2006. The Board recommended a 15% dividend.

Four Soft Q3FY06 consolidated revenue jump by 471%

Mumbai, January 30, 2006 Four Soft Limited (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), the world’s largest transportation and logistics software product company, has reported a 471 % growth in consolidated revenues at Rs 33.55 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 5.88 crores in the corresponding quarter last year.
4S had acquired DCS Transportation and Logistics Solutions division, a UK headquartered Transport & Logistics Software solutions major, with operations in UK, The Netherlands, US, France & Germany in September 2005. The acquisition established 4S as the market leader with large international client base including majority of the top twenty Transportation & Logistics companies of the world. 4S expects the results of this consolidation exercise by 2 nd quarter of FY 2006-07.
4S has reported that the Consolidation of the acquired entities have been successful and are in line with the strategy of the Company. The customers are generally satisfied with the current organisation, service levels and stability, post-acquisition. The customer risk post acquisition has been mitigated. 4S have strengthened their management team and also in the process of adding more manpower in India. 4S had also increased the infrastructure in Hyderabad by adding more facilities such as office space of around 14,000 sft and necessary equipments as a part of expansion strategy.
The Consolidated year to date Revenue for the nine months ended 31 st December 2005 has grown by 274 % at Rs 57.89 crores compared to Rs 15.47 crores for the nine months ended 31 st December 2004.
The Consolidated net profit for the nine months stood at Rs 2.86 crores compared to Rs 5.27 crores in corresponding period last year. The Consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 0.18 crores compared to Rs 1.15 crores in corresponding quarter last year. The Board of Directors today approved the unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31st, 2005.

Hyderabad, 27 October, 2008 Four Soft (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a global leader offering software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, today announced strong financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2008. The PAT grew to Rs. 40.38 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, as compared to Rs. 11.41 million in the corresponding quarter last year. The revenues were of Rs. 383.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 as compared to Rs. 418.48 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
The quarter has seen a significant jump in profits due to increased operational efficiency and favorable foreign exchange rates. During the quarter, the company also successfully implemented its flagship products at numerous customer sites across the globe. The Company has established itself in the domestic market by adding 7 customers in the last one year and also hopes to further strengthen its presence by penetrating deeper into the Indian transportation and logistics industries.
The company has recorded Rs. 1,111.43 million in sales and a PBT of Rs. 418.36 million for the first half year of the year.

Raj had joined Four Soft in October 2007 as the Head of Global Delivery and was promoted as the Chief Operating Officer in April 2008. Mumbai, 01 May 2008 Four Soft Limited (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a globally leading software solutions provider of transportation and logistics management, today announced un-audited financial results for the financial year ended 31 st March 2008.
The year was marked by impressive number of client acquisitions. Consolidated revenue from Operations was Rs. 173 crore and Operational PBT was Rs.16.35 crore. This is a considerable increase of about 6% in the revenue as compared to last year’s figure of 163 crore and about 28% in the Operational PBT as compared to previous year’s figures of Rs. 12.79 crore. During the fourth Quarter of FY07-08, the revenue reported was Rs. 44 crore and the PBT was Rs. 5.59 crore, that has quite significantly contributed to the impressive annual results.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Biju.S Nair, Senior Vice President - Finance & HR, Four Soft Limited, said, “We are very pleased to announce successful Quarterly results. This is a combined effect of increased revenue from license and maintenance, client acquisitions and optimized operations carried out of a successfully implemented integration plan of our acquisitions in the past. This, coupled with successful implementation of our products at reputed client sites globally, has helped us to comeback very strongly.”

Chennai/Hyderabad, March 28, 2008 Four Soft Ltd. (4S) ( NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521) and TAKE Solutions Ltd. (BSE: TAKE) (NSE: TAKE), the leading providers of IT products and solutions in the Supply Chain Management space -- today announced their intent to merge. The combination will create a truly global, comprehensive company with one of the largest product offerings in Supply Chain Management.
Both companies have received “in principle” approval from their Board of Directors to consider the merger. Both Boards will appoint independent firms of Chartered Accountants and financial advisors to reach a fair valuation for the shareholders of both the companies.
The Boards of the two Companies expect to meet within 6 to 8 weeks to consider the reports of the advisors. The merger, if approved by both the Boards, will be subject to shareholders' approval of both companies and other regulatory approvals.
